Fine Motor Development

 
  • Draws recognizable shapes and simple pictures.
  • Uses scissors to cut along a line.
  • Begins to write their own name.
  • Manipulates small objects with increased dexterity.

Gross-Motor Development

 
  • Hops on one foot and skips.
  • Throws and catches a ball with some accuracy.
  • Climbs stairs with alternating feet.
  • Maintains balance while walking on a line.
