During our conversation with her, we learned the most important word, which covers our teaching methodology, and that's one of the accurate words we were looking for to talk about. (i.e., Multi-Dimensional Curriculum).
Yes! At Shanti Juniors, We don't go flat - A for Apple, B for Ball. Rather, we go A for Apple, A for Ant, and A for Alligator. With more pictures of the objects and then dramatizing those objects into a story and followed by various recognitions. A child learns so many things through mere alphabets. The recognition process goes through field trips, where they correlate the apples in supermart and animals in the zoo. That's what a multi-dimensional curriculum.
Ms.Kanan has been a certified teacher, and she has been recognized for "Teaching Tacts". Let's hear further from her.
Hello Ms.Kanan, Tell us about your journey with Shanti Juniors.
Hi Shivani, Thanks for the coverage of my story. I am glad that, Being such a big national brand with around 3000 people working across India, you thought to cover teachers' perspective, and I am blessed to be a part of this backstage story. We appreciate this initiative as teachers play a vital role, and they're almost a 2nd mother to the child. Most of us remember saying, "Mere Toddcare ke Bacche, Mere Nursery ke Bacche." I have seen this from major teachers referring to their batch of students when we meet them in National Academic Training Workshops by Shanti Juniors Head Office.
We get a lot to learn about innovative teaching tacts, sharing best practices, and recognizing our efforts during the Annual Academic Gathering. It's the day we wait for. I feel very content and satisfied working with Shanti Juniors. Its curriculum is fabulous compared to other preschool brands.
The proudest moment I remember was when a Toddcare child's mother gifted me a diary with my name engraved. She was so overwhelmed by her child's phonics sound progress. (The Phonics Chart for the reference of readers is as below). She could easily identify the difference between her child and children from other preschools.
Wow!! So What's the best part you love about Shanti Juniors?
Well, I love the Annual Days. That's not less than a marriage function in our house. We start the preparation several months before judgment day. The dance, costumes, drama, sound, itinerary, music, and lights. Oh, God! It's exhausting sometimes, but when you see the happy tears of the parents when their children perform on the stage, your efforts feel accomplished.
Thank you, Ms.Kanan; that was super interesting... I can feel now how detailed a teacher's job is. Truly, how important a teacher is to a child. Children leave their homes for preschool and are excited to meet their teachers daily. The children dance, sing, recite and enjoy their preschooling with them.
